As we enter the new decade we enter an uncertain time in railroading.. Class 1s hellbent on cutting costs, operating ratios and pleasing Wall Street are forgetting the fundamental principles that make any business sustainable.. While Shortlines and Regionals are 'crushing it,' the big Class 1s are cursing it and it's anyone's guess how the story will evolve.. Or end.

================================================================

Trains 21 is a documentary of railroading in the 21st century and a look at the fascinating world of transportation. On this channel we deal with all aspects of trains with a strong focus on the Northeast USA.

This goal is for you to learn a lot in a short amount of time.. A major infusion of knowledge in just a few minutes.. And if those few minutes distilled some of the best railroad information in the industry, we feel that we've done our job..

The trick is clarity.. Clear, concise and on point.. New videos are uploaded frequently and if you like what you see, comment, like and subscribe (in that order!).
