Minoh Park (Minoo Park) - Osaka's forested valley and waterfall (4K)

The park runs through forested valleys, running alongside Minoh river. It stretches about three kilometers and begins near Hankyu Minoo Station leading to the Minoh Waterfall. The trail is mostly flat and would take around 45 minutes to complete in one direction leaving from the station.

The park passes a few shops, some temples and a cafe if you want somewhere to rest. A snack called momiji tempura (also known as a deep fried maple leaf) can be purchased at the shops among other sweet and savory treats.

This park also holds illuminations late in the year and during spring. It is also a beautiful place to visit during Autumn. I would compare this trail to Mount Takao in Tokyo, but the incline on this trail is more gentle and I found it less busy.

To get there, take the Hankyu Takarazuka Line from Hankyu Umeda Station to Ishibashi handai-mae Station then transfer to the Hankyu Minoo Line to Minoo Station.
