Ridiculed for poor quality 20 years ago, autoflowering cannabis plants, which start flowering without the need for light to trigger the flowering process, are experiencing a resurgence in the US. The quality has improved, as autoflowering ruderalis has been cross-bred with other varietals that have certain desirable characteristics.

The market will be commercial operations, but moreso home growers, who can basically plant any time and expect flower a few months later.
