what everyone should know about maj7#5 chords!

  / tinaguitar   is this chord really so rarely used? i think there is sort of an misunderstanding.
BECAUSE
maybe the chord symbol itself (maj#5) doesn´t appear so frequently on the lead sheet of a jazz standard.
BUT
maybe it´s not so much about the chord symbol itself but more about the STRUCTURE of the chord!
