Описание к видео C/w Nana: Lao Meatballs ( ລູກຊີ້ນ == Luke Seen)

This is a video to show how to make Lao meatballs. I learned how to make this from a relative who was visiting from Laos a few years ago. I used pork in this video, but the same technique and ingredients can be used with other meats and seafood. Feel free to adjust the flavors to your preference.

INGREDIENTS:
3 pounds Lean Ground Pork
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil (or other oil)
2 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Chicken Flavor Soup Mix
1/2 tbsp White Ground Pepper
3 tbsp Corn Starch
3 tbsp Lobo Accord Phosphate Powder
2 cups Ice Water

I said, "flour" but I meant to say, "corn starch" when I added the first white powder in the ice water. If you can't find the Accord powder, you can use baking powder or more corn starch.

It is very important that you keep the meat cold while mixing the ingredients and shaping into balls.

In my next video, I will show how to make a quick dipping sauce and also show what the meatballs look like deep-fried and steamed.
