LaTeX Tutorial Part II: Formatting Mathematical Notation

From the standpoint of scientific writing, one of the more appealing aspects of LaTeX is its rich set of markup syntax for formatting mathematical expressions. In this tutorial, we'll learn how to take advantage of that feature. In addition, we'll learn how to use LaTeX's system for formatting theorems, proofs, and theorem-like environments.
