This video was released on 31 August 2020 to conclude WOMEN'S MONTH in South Africa.
In the video, Lucas Maree's song "Die Weduwee se Kruik" is combined with an ode by writer Diana Ferrus to essential workers who bring hope and healing to communities. Artists who had to cancel performances at Suidoosterfees productions earlier this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic brought talents together for this video.
