What exactly is Moray? And what was the importance of the terraces?
At first look, it looks like an amphitheater formed by many circular terraces.
Moray is located 7 km from the community of Maras, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and approximately 38 km northeast of Cusco.It is located at an altitude of 11483 feet above sea level. It has two distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season.
