In this video, I did some cutting with a Gale Wind Jian that was sent to me for test and review by LK Chen Swords. As can be seen in this video, this jian cuts and handles very well. This is the first video where I have performed the "cut-to-thrust" feat that a few of us at the Phoenix Society have been practicing recently. This jian transitioned from the cut to the thrust very well.
