Welcome to my Proud Marry CCR guitar lesson where I will be going over the strumming pattern and chords used for this song.

Proud Mary was also done by Ike and Tina Turner and you can really use this tutorial to play it whichever way you choose. Ike and Tina's version really starts cooking when they get into it.

Overall, I would consider this Proud Mary guitar lesson to be more in the intermediate guitar song realm due to it's use of syncopated strumming and barre chords for the intro. We do have a Bm that pops into the verses, but I do show a way to alleviate that for beginners interested in just playing along to the choruses.
