First of all, the journey to this canyon is a difficult one. The road/trail that leads you here is rough, especially with the recent heavy rain. However, if you're fit and determined you will be rewarded with one of the most beautiful and isolated places in all of Texas. I was very exhausted at the end but absolutely loved it. I didn't see a single person out there for 19 miles, but I saw four wild horses.
