The Life of Artemisia Gentileschi | That Art History Girl

Artemisia Gentileschi was an Italian Baroque painter considered one of the most accomplished seventeenth-century artists. Creating work since the age of 15, Gentileschi was inspired by the work of Baroque master Caravaggio. During her lifetime, women artists had very few opportunities to pursue artistic training or work, and Gentileschi worked towards great accomplishments.
