We made a last minute decision to head to Savage Race Gainesville! I have never done a full race at this venue since it has always been the same weekend as F.I.T. Challenge in Rhode Island. Sadly, they had their last OCR last year, so it was available.
It was a really perfect day out. It wasn't too hot in the sun and it wasn't cold during the many creek runs. I'm still not where I want to be speed-wise, but it sure is great being out there having fun supporting OCR.
I ended up finishing 11th overall, 1st in 45-49 age group (thanks to Bobby winning masters) with a time of 1:03:15. Next up, Mythic Race in Missouri April 13!
