Meet Sophie the Goddess of the Lanner Falcons! Solo Parahawking!

Topher meets Dave at Torrey Pines Gliderport to check out some Solo Parahawking! Its a light wind day, so Dave decides to take Sophie the Lanner Falcon out for some solo paragliding! This is how Dave trains his birds to parahawk. Sophie and Bunco are both trained to parahawk, and they both have different bird styles of flying! Before the birds can parahawk with a tandem paraglider, Dave must spend hours and hours training them to fly with him in his solo paraglider (we call paragliders "wings"). This is a very rigorous and tedious training, but its also super fun!
