2020年10月中旬。日本海能登半島ではアオリイカの新子が釣れるシーズン。
前回と同じくアオリイカを生き餌にして泳がせ釣りを行う。今回は前回よりも深場にある天然の岩場で泳がせ釣りを行う。
生き餌の調達に苦戦しながらもポイントへ向かう。
数週間前このポイントで水中撮影を行ったときは、青物の群れを筆頭に70オーバーのタイなど魚影の濃さが垣間見えるポイントだ。
そんなポイントに針を掛けたアオリイカを投入する。海底まで沈めていくと早速アオリイカに近づく魚が。マハタだ！アオリイカに噛み付く。半分ほどを丸飲みにするが一旦吐き出す。
そこに別のマハタや大きなマダイも近づいてくる。この真鯛は80せんちはあろうかという大きなタイである。
マハタたちは代わる代わるアオリイカの足に噛み付くが、イカが大きすぎるせいか針かかりはせず。孫バリを忘れてしまったのが痛い。。
翌日、おなじくアオリイカを調達し再度同じポイントへ。今回は孫針もセッティングしてある仕掛けをもってきた。
イカを投入していく。海底に到着し魚影を確認するが前日より魚の数は少なそうだ。
しばらくイカを泳がせているとテンションが抜ける強烈なあたりが！いかが丸呑みされている！大きなマハタだ！
暴れだすマハタ！根に潜ろうと必死に泳ぐ。
強烈な引きを感じつつ合わせを入れてゴリゴリ巻いていく
岩場から引き剥がし徐々に巻き上げる。
そしてついに大きなマハタが海面に浮いてきた！
50センチオーバー2キロ弱のマハタだ！
過去動画でも何度も登場したマハタを無事釣り上げることができた。
今後も巨大魚を求めて海の冒険は続く。

From the previous edition (   • 【衝撃映像】アオリイカに針をかけて船から落としてみると・・・ #1  .
Mid-October 2020. This is the season for catching newborns of squid in the Noto Peninsula of the Sea of Japan.
As before, we will fish for them with live bait. This time we fish deeper in the natural rocky area than last time.
I struggled to find live bait, but headed for the spot.
When we had taken underwater photos in this spot a few weeks ago, we had seen a school of bluefish and a lot of ties over 70 years old.
I cast a hooked bigfin reefer into such a spot. When we sank it to the bottom of the ocean, we immediately saw a fish approaching the squid. It was a mahata! Bite into the squid. He swallows about half of it, but spits it out once.
Then another grouper and a big sea bream come up to me. This snapper is a big tie, perhaps as big as 80 cents.
The mahatas took turns biting the legs of the squid, but the squid was too big to catch. It was painful that I had forgotten my grandchildren's burr.
The next day, we went to the same point again to get another big grouper. This time I brought a grandson hook set up as well.
I threw in the squid. When I arrived at the bottom of the sea, I checked the shadow of fish, but there seemed to be fewer fish than the previous day.
When I let the squid swim for a while, I felt a strong bite that took the tension out of it. How has been swallowed! It's a big mahata!
Mahata out of control! I swim desperately to dive into the roots.
Feeling a strong pull, I set the fish and reel it in.
Pulled off the rocky shore and gradually reeled it in.
And finally a big mahata floats to the surface!
That's a mahata just under two kilos over 50 centimeters!
I was able to successfully catch a mahata, which has appeared many times in past videos.
The adventure of the sea will continue in search of giant fish in the future.
