Matthew M. Williams on Alyx, Givenchy and Life in Fashion

The founder of Alyx and ex-Givenchy creative director sits down for a candid conversation about the realities of being a fashion designer today, and what the term means to him.

Returning to SHOWstudio’s notorious ‘In Fashion’ series after 10 years, Matthew talks about what his life in fashion looks like now. The Chicago-born Californian is the founder of the cult brand 1017 ALYX 9SM, and in this up-front and honest chat, Matthew discusses being a business owner, creative, designer and father.
