One of the best ways to resolve problem behaviors in a child with autism, or any child for that matter, is through pairing. If you’re a parent, in this video you’ll learn how to pair with your child to balance the demands and the reinforcement. Pairing and development in a child is crucial in helping a child meet the demands that a parent might set. If one or the other is too high or low, problem behaviors will occur. Hence, it’s important to pair with increased reinforcement and easier demands. How to properly pair as a parent can be challenging to figure out at first, but once you’ve got it figured out, balancing demands and reinforcement becomes easier.
