Chicken Sukka basically means dry chicken. It has many regional variations, extending along the malabar coast—in Goa, Karnataka. INGREDIENTS:

Chicken - 750 grms
Kashmiri red chilli - 5 - 6
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp + 1 tsp
Black pepper - 1/4th tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 8 - 10 seeds
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Green Cardamom - 1
Cloves - 3
Star Anise - 2 petal
Nutmeg - very small piece (size of 1 black pepper)
Javitri - very small piece
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 - 2 strings
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
Coconut - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp / 1/4th tsp
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Bay leaf - 2
Onion - 2
Garlic - 1 1/2 tbsp
Ginger - 1 tbsp
Tomato - 1 (small)
Salt as needed
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves - a handful
