In this video I will do a brief identification of the Black Walnut tree and discuss the medicinal benefits. I will demonstrate how to process the hulls and create a decoction that can be used as an antiseptic wash in the field. The wash will be antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal. The Black Walnut tree is one of the only organic sources of iodine. It also contains Jugalone and strong tannins.
