Adirondacks Five Nights Ten Ponds

For at least the past eight years or so, I have taken at least a week or more in the month of June and gone canoe camping.
Most, if not all of those trips where in the great state of Maine.
I have been meaning to get back to the Adirondacks of New York. I have canoe camped in the Adirondacks many times, there is a lot of area in the park, this year I decided to go back. I spent five nights and six days exploring and enjoying this wonderful area. Originally I was going spend six nights but I called the trip short by one day. The recent heat wave had a lot to do with this decision. The area I was in is called the Saranac Lakes Wild Forest Area. So beautiful ! I definitely am going back in the fall ! I want to give a big thank you to Butch from 'Canoe Camp Climb" Butch has a wealth of information regarding this entire area. He has given me lots of idea's for future trips. It was a pleasure meeting Butch and his wife Barbara who were able to paddle out to my first camp spot on my first afternoon.
