Berlin - Körnerpark

Possibly my favourite park in Berlin, Körnerpark is a cool little geometrically pleasing, below the street level park that is hugged cosily by high walls and high trees and still a perfect place to work on your tan as you can see in this video. I know I often talk about sunbathing, but when you live in Berlin for the full duration of winter, which is really really long, always a month or two longer than you expect, you start craving for that life-giving, wonderful thing called the sunshine.

Still cold-ish in the shadows, we had a bone-warming day lying in the sun and reading our books. The nearby pizza place “Nini e Pettirosso” was crowded for a very good reason, we found out.

For our new 35mm camera we bought films (Kodak Gold as any beginner) and the necessary little battery to run and watched many videos about how to use the thing, but didn’t feel confident enough to take it out yet. But soon, we hope the developed photos will be part of these little journeys.
