In today's video I reverse sear a tomahawk ribeye steak using a Kamado Joe Classic. A tomahawk steak is basically a giant ribeye steak with a handle and what's better than a perfectly cooked steak? A steak with a handle! Depending on their size tomahawks can also be called cowboy ribeye steaks or cowboy cut steaks, I'm not sure where the name comes from but I can definitely see cowboys eating these!

A quick note about reverse searing. Not only does reverse searing give you that perfect wall to wall doneness rivaling any sous vide (in my opinion!), it also lets you add a kiss of smoke to make it all that much better! It's by far my favourite way to do steaks of any size! If you haven't tried it before, it's time you do it, you won't regret it!
