Predator Free Russell - an eco-sanctuary in New Zealand's first capital city

Predator Free Russell is a community-led Predator Free 2050 project, with the goal to eliminate rats, stoats & possums from the Russell peninsula, to create a mainland sanctuary. This project is led by Russell Landcare Trust.

Northland Regional Council is proud to support Predator Free Russell's mainland elimination efforts. This is part of the Predator Free Pēwhairangi Whānui programme, which is also funded by Predator Free 2050 Limited.
