Replacing the Motor on a Porter Cable 5 HP Air Compressor

The motor on my almost 20 year old 60 gallon air compressor shot out sparks and smoke. The motor is now obsolete so I had to adapt another similar motor onto it. I also had to repair the drive pully which I was not able to find either. This is a great way to allow a perfectly good air compressor to live on. I believe this is also the same as a Campbell Hausfeld air compressor.
