This is 8mm film from my grandfather Snorri Snorrason. Iceland enters the Jet age in 1967 with the first Jet, a B727-100 named Gullfaxi. This is the first landing in Reykjavik airport and the following ceremony. The captain was Jóhannes R. Snorrason. This is a historic day in Iceland´s history.
