Reawakening in 65,000,000 B.C. our heroes were badly injured but managed to rest under the watchful eye of Ayla. Left to ponder Magus's words, the trio are once again called to action when conflict between Humankind and the Reptites reignites. The group heads towards the nearby Dactyl nest in an effort to secure transport to the Reptite lair. All the while a strange red star hangs in the skies above.

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.

The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
