In an effort to open the sealed door in Proto Dome by restoring power from a nearby factory, Crono, Lucca and their new friend Robo traverse the dilapidated building while dispatching of the dangerous enemies in their path. The trek takes an unexpected turn when Robo is suddenly confronted with relics from his past and is reminded of his original purpose.

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.

The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
