Pacific National Hospital Train at Ararat: XR559, BL33 and 8116 on 7736V & 7735V- 1/9/19

A somewhat regular trip train from Murtoa to Ararat and return, the Ararat wagon repair trains aren't often captured on video. So, in what turned out to be a failed attempt at getting the QUBE grain to Dimboola, the arrival of Pacific National's 7736V from Murtoa with XR559 leading BL33 and 8116 was worth getting. The train consisted of twelve hoppers for repairs in the yard at Ararat with the locos running onto a rake of fifteen that had been repaired. Shunting through the yard, the wagons needing attention were cut off and the locos took the fixed lot back westwards as 7735V.

7736V- XR559, BL33 and 8116
7735V- 8116, BL33 and XR559
