In the press release for Dark Sky Island: ‘ Echoes in Rain shares the buoyant optimism of ‘Orinoco Flow’, yet its rhythmic march celebrates the anticipation of a journey’s end . '
It certainly shares some features of Enya's famous song Orinoco Flow, but now that 'everything flows', there is more contentment, and quiet confidence going ahead. 🌟

The song Echoes In Rain could mean quite a lot of things as a song; it has a feeling of journeying through a city night into the next day, and being quite chilled out overall, and at times, ecstatic. 🌃🌇

Enya said that the use of "Alleluia" in the song isn't really being religious, but more of an expression of praise and joy - likely the first word that came to her mind to fit the chorus tune 😄

This single was the last Enya recorded for the album, but of course, not the last ever! Hopefully we can hear something new musically from Enya soon 😁🤞🎼🤩
