Productions after seeing Tim Bonython, Grange Hall shows, early street skating, cliques and bias in skateboarding and surfing and style of dress and trying to understandand moniter those, S.U.P., Zane Schweitzer, Marco Pacheco, wierdos hijacking the word surfskate and doing kooky shit, real surf skate and reclaiming the term, TR doing rolling style portrayals of Jay Adams, Laird Hamilton, Adam Replogle, Alex Knost and Mark Richards, Tommy and Tony Guerrero, San Francisco street skating paradise, Ricky Winsor, Capitola Classic, Streetstyle and how everyone skated in the early comps, then when street skaters like Tommy, Gonz and Mike V. started changing the game many vert pros didn't adapt and it got sad and tragic, skateboarding is always progressing and can't be contained, current ATV dudes mixing tech with hill bombs for the most gnarly death defying skating ever, we are still skating, TR on staying current and trying to engage with current YouTubers and getting no love, how our generation of skater were nostalgic and the last few don't care about their history, kids that learned in the early 90s are the gatekeepers and podcast hosts of today and most have no knowledge pre kickflip, how early 90s tech Eric Koston flippy generation changed the game, then Jamie Thomas Geoff Rowley generation mixed the tech with huge gnar, then the Daewon Song, Chris Cole, Paul Rodriguez generation, then today's super tech generation, how P Rod thinks how skateboarding is losing it's soul and some new skaters are robotic and that's what we thought of him, how Meekster hasn't seen a Thrasher mag in over ten years, does not stay current does not care what's going on in skateboarding, his art and graphics and starting at Jim Phillips studio, losing so many friends to drugs, new generations repeating mistakes of previous generations, alcoholism, cocaine, addiction, sobriety, chasing dopamine, Santa Cruz is the devil's playground, style in skateboarding and the sickest styles ever Steve Olson, T.A., Jay, John Stevenson, Aaron Murray, Eric Dressen, Scott Oster, Tim Jackson but needing to take some time to make a personal list because I put him on the spot, seeing Gregg Weaver in an elevator and being too intimidated to talk to him, Real Skate Stories and Real Surf Stories You Tube channels and the process of getting archival footage when I am travelling full time and much more.
