For the last 43 years, the soft, fluffy idlis and crisp vadas at Sri Raghavendra Stores have lured passengers alighting at Malleswaram railway station in Northwest Bengaluru. The tiny space abutting the train station that this shop occupies belies the immense popularity of its tiffin fare. I catch up with the family that operates this much-loved eatery and savour most of the seven or eight items on the menu.
