Have you ever had concerns about the copyright of your writing or plagiarism? In this video, Harry Bingham describes exactly why he has never done anything to protect their copyright, and why you needn’t either.

One thing you need to take away from this video: copyright is automatic. As soon as you put pen to paper, you’re protected by law from the moment you start writing, through until 70 years after your death.

Still concerned? Harry will take you through the do’s and don’t of protecting your work. Where you should be concerned and the action you can take, if necessary. However, please follow his advice, don’t go crazy and start sending off non-disclosures to literary agents. This is a quick-fire way to get yourself noted as an amateur and a literary agent will likely not even go to the trouble of reading your work.
