IFR to Lausanne and DIVERSION to Saanen | Switzerlanz with the Mooney PART 1

Our goal that day was to fly from Augsburg to Lausanne and thereafter to Saanen (Gstaad) in Switzerland for a photo mission. Unfortunalltey, Lausanne and its airport were covered in fog that has risen from lake Geneva in the morning. We evaluated our options and decided to continue directly to Saanen, since we knew it was CAVOK. The approach into Sannen was spectacular, as well as the several aircraft that operated, while we were there.
After a few hours, it was visible on the webcams that the fog cleared in Lausanne. Hence, we hopped on the plane and flew back there.
