Bach - Flute Partita in A minor BWV 1013 - Root | Netherlands Bach Society

Описание к видео Bach - Flute Partita in A minor BWV 1013 - Root | Netherlands Bach Society

This Flute Partita in A minor, performed by Marten Root for All of Bach, is Bach’s only known work for flute solo. The piece consists of four stylised dances. The Allemande is directly reminiscent of the cello suites and violin partitas, so this piece probably originated in the same period, namely Bach’s years at the court in Köthen.

Recorded for the project All of Bach on November 28th 2015 at the Oude Dorpskerk, Bunnik. If you want to help us complete All of Bach, please subscribe to our channel http://bit.ly/2vhCeFB and consider donating http://bit.ly/2uZuMj5.
