HI THERE! thanks for stopping by this description box. do you how do? anyways so, this animatic has been brewing for almost 2 months now, and it's finally done 334 frames later. i hope you enjoyed it because wow it took too long. well, you're probably wondering what the story here is.

RICH LORE STARTS HERE. SCROLL DOWN FOR THE INTRO TO THE ANIMATIC.

i call it "book of reality au" or simply put, "book au". the story so far is that long ago, the gods formed artifacts that were meant to test humanity. these objects could transcend dimensional barriers, so they could jump to different versions of humanity to test them. much of humanity passed the test, and destroyed a majority of the artifacts, but one of these still remained a threat. the book of reality.

this book will latch on to a person who wishes to make the world different, and gives them promises of change so long as it's being used. it comes to a point where it will completely take over the host, transforming them into an altered version of themself. now, these versions aren't evil in their own mind, but they are commonly called "villains". they can now edit reality at will, until they are either broken from the curse of the book, or killed.

this animatic takes place in the first universe the book was placed in, a fantasy world of monsters, magic, and more. thomas is king here, and the sides are his court of trustees who help him with running the kingdom. logan is a scientist, wishing to understand and breakdown the world from a scientific view. roman is a knight and honorary prince and heir to the throne who will do anything to protect the kingdom and his friends. virgil is a sorcerer, and the castle's "magic man" who could heal and cast other spells, though he is rather quiet. finally, patton, the subject of this animatic, is just the overall dad friend with a heart of gold, who is technically a "lord", but just wants everyone to call him dad.

HERE'S THE INTRO TO THE ANIMATIC AS WELL AS SOME EXPLANATIONS.

the unseen beginning of this animatic is that the kindom is being threatened by someone simple known as "the snake man". from what is known, he can manipulate a person's mind, and turn them against someone else, or perhaps even worse. rumor has it that he's after the book of reality, which is safely being sealed away from the world in the archives of the castle. while discussing what to do, patton suggests using the book as a means of protecting the kingdom, to which everyone declines. patton understands, but his curiosity gets the better of him and he heads to the archive to see just how bad this book is.

as per usual, the book tells him promises. it tells him that it will keep the kingdom safe, and there will be no more pain. so, being the impulsive man that he is, he steals the book. and thus begins the animatic.

the book shows him "villain" versions of his friends and those he know, those who have used the book in other realities, in order to get him to comply and become a "villain" himself.
