Baleni - Arrangement for Piano (Artun Miskciyan)

Based on Lyudvig Duryan’s poem, Ծաղկած բալենի (Tsaghkats Baleni) / The Blooming Cherry Tree is one of Khachatur Avetisyan’s most memorable songs for the voice.

Besides his studies in classical music and becoming the first Armenian composer honoured with gold medals in the Berlin and Moscow international competitions, Avetisyan dedicated his creative life to researching and developing the performance practice of the Armenian folk music and traditional instruments, and became a significant figure in this discipline.

Arranged for solo piano by Artun Miskciyan.
