Artun Miskciyan

Artun Miskciyan is a pianist based in Toronto, Canada. Alongside performing works from the classical repertoire, having a multicultural background and being classically trained has inspired him to create arrangements of select music from different genres and to compose original music. In concerts and recordings he regularly introduces his audience a unique program that consists of not only classical pieces, but also arrangements and original music.

Born to Armenian parents in Istanbul, his programming aims to remove man-made boundaries and create cultural and musical bridges that brings listeners together, giving them the opportunity to explore new music, along with the music that they are familiar with.
