Inkjet Transfer onto Wood Panel

I’ve done the image in reverse. if you want your photo the other way, you’ll need to reverse it on your computer before you print it out.
This technique works with color images too—I like using black and white and my special trick of painting subtle color along with the medium.

MATERIALS:
Inkjet print on regular printer paper (not thick paper or cardstock)
Matte medium or Mod Podge or soft gel gloss
Clear gesso or acrylic medium for sealing if the wood is raw
Soft brush for applying matte medium
Cradled wood or flat wood panel (sanded plywood is ok too)
Baby oil or mineral oil
Soft cloth/rag
Optional baren or wood spoon
Acrylics such as Liquitex or Amsterdam
