Mercee, tuffarapha - Booty Down

Mercee is a 24-year-old singer and songwriter from Zurich, Switzerland.
She stepped on to the scene with her debut EP “HYPNOTIZED” in 2019 and made quite the splash with her beautiful voice. With her 2nd EP “LA LUNA YENA” the half Cuban and half Italian singer really embraced and showed off her roots on this project where she started to show off her mesmerizing Spanish lyrics. in 2020 she made even bigger waves throughout the music scene as she was chosen as the “SRF Best Talent”.
Lately she’s been busy releasing singles such as “SOLITA”, “POR TI”, “SOBER”, “DOUBLE TAP” and “DRIFT AWAY” – featuring Lakna.

In her latest single “BOOTY DOWN”, Mercee sings about a place, a feeling, a lust – she sings of a world in which everybody can be themselves, where you’re not alone and where “we don’t need no money” to satisfy any materialistic needs to feel better. She sings of a safe space! One that gets celebrated with lots of enjoyment of life.
She sings of a world where we all reign together and live a life of love, friendship, and empowerment.
