John McLeod, University of Abertay, is one of the world's leading authorities on case study research in counselling and psychotherapy. On the 19th June 2020, we were delighted to have him talk to us at CREST (the Centre for Research in Social and Psychological Transformation) about the basic principles and practices of case study research in this field. John presents a uniquely clear and engaging introduction to case study research, and his overview is followed up by questions and comments from students on doctoral programmes at the University of Roehampton.
