Historic Broadway Theater District | Walking LA

Описание к видео Historic Broadway Theater District | Walking LA

Last summer, my daughter and I walked along the historic Broadway Theater District in downtown Los Angeles. The walk started at the Herald Examiner Building designed by Julia Morgan (1913) in the Mission Revival style of architecture. Just up the street was the striking Art Deco style and turquoise colored Eastern Columbia Building. As we traveled up Broadway, we enjoyed seeing some of the grand movie palaces of yesteryear including the United Artists Theater, Orpheum Theater, “Apple” Tower Theater, Palace Theater, Los Angeles Theater, and the Million Dollar Theater. At the north end of Broadway, was the magical Bradbury Building made famous in the movie, Blade Runner. We crossed the street and walked through the Grand Central Market where we had lunch.
