Things you don’t know about George [🇿🇦S1:Ep9]

Описание к видео Things you don’t know about George [🇿🇦S1:Ep9]

In this episode, I upgrade my camper van Gigi with DIY window insulation and enjoy a night out in George courtesy of a friendly couple in Geelhoutboom. When heavy rain hits the next day, I improvise a solution for my tent and discover a new way to cook frozen eggs. Who knew!? Before I get carried away with my genius, a simple question from my mother about her YouTube channel keeps me grounded.

At the Outeniqua Transport Museum, I embark on a nostalgic journey through time, marvelling at a diverse array of 21 steam locomotives. Notable exhibits include the original 'White Coach' where Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret lodged during their 1947 visit to South Africa. The museum also showcases vintage crockery, model trains, and a fascinating exhibit on the region's transportation evolution.

Exploring the Outeniqua Mountains on the George Power Van offers insights into the area's natural history. And, of course, I indulge in a classic South African braai with Kameel Doring wood and succulent ostrich eye fillet. Truly living life to the fullest!
