People with no expectations can be easier to please because they aren’t looking for specific outcomes and are open to whatever happens. This can lead to greater satisfaction with what they receive, as they aren’t set up for disappointment. However, not having any expectations might also mean missing out on setting personal goals or striving for better things.

Honestly speaking, I do not have reference letters from my previous employers. I find it somewhat embarrassing to ask my former employers about them. I probably feel that I had not done enough to ask for a reference letter at the time.
