A multi-award winning movie star Wentworth Miller drew his first breath in 1972. At teenage years he got passionate about music and while studying at college, used to travel the world and perform with a famous band “The Princeton” Tigertones. Having graduated, he decided to move to LA to pursue an acting career. However, at the beginning of his path, he had to work behind the scenes, in a production company Paramount. The money he earned wasn’t enough even for paying for the rent however, Miller didn’t plan to give up. After four years and hundreds of castings, he finally got an offer to be a guest actor in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Time of Your Life and several other TV series.
The main breakthrough in the actor's career happened when he featured in Prison Break. After that project, his career has been only blossoming. Wentworth can boast of starring in such successful films and TV series as Ghost Whisperer, Joan of Arcadia, Underworld and many others.

The father Wentworth Miller II studied in Oxford and later worked as an attorney as well as a teacher. He has always been very supportive of his son’s goals and is very proud of all his achievements. Despite parent’s divorce, the father and son are very close till present days.

The mother’s name is Joy and she is a former special education teacher. In a marriage with her spouse, she gave birth to three kids and shares a tight bond with all of them.

The celebrity has two younger sisters. The first one is Gillian and she was welcomed in 1980. She has a degree in psychology but decided not to build a career in that sphere. She is now an owner of a company that sells handmade accessories and gifts for kids. As for her personal life, she is married and has two daughters.

The second sister Leigh became a wonderful addition to the family in 1982. She studied law at the University and works as an Assistant County Attorney in Miami. Also, she is happily married to a man named Jonathan Kobrinski with whom she shares a child.

Coming closer to Miller’s relationship status, it is no secret that in 2013 he came out as gay. Before that he used to say that he would tie the knot and have children one day. He does his best to keep personal life under the radar but it doesn’t always work. He was linked to Luke Macfarlane, Kristoffer Cusick and Mark Liddell.
