When we have back and leg pain, there is a very common belief that we are dealing with 'sciatica." However only about 10% of the time is true sciatica where the nerve root is either irritated and/or compressed. Much more commonly, the facet joint in our spine is referring pain down the leg.

This is fortunate because there is a lot more we can do to help this condition, then when the nerve root is compromised. In this video we break down how to differentiate between the two, portions to temporarily avoid and the most effective and safe exercise to resolve this condition!
