Session Description: I would like to introduce Apart's model for engaging a global community of AI safety research talent via weekend-long research global, remote-first hackathons (Apart Sprints) and a half-year-long part-time, global, remote-first AI safety research fellowship (Apart Lab). I am keen on inviting everyone interested in the intersection of talent development, field-building, and research for AI safety on a global scale to join the discussion and help figure out high-value opportunities in this space.
