3 Transistor Solderless Guitar Amplifier

Описание к видео 3 Transistor Solderless Guitar Amplifier

A 3 transistor solder-less design that you can build at home if you can be bothered or sumfink. We explore ways of connecting the speaker without any soldering. It isn't very loud but is good enough for home practice purposes: about as loud as a small transistor radio @ full volume. It's presented here mostly for electronic educational purposes. The completed amplifier can be used for many other purposes, such as a intercom or for amplifying a crystal radio set. In a L8a submission we add a diode clipper to convert this simple circuit into the FUZZBOX FROM HELL! Really, when used as such and to my ears, a fuzz circuit made using this little amp is just about the best one I've heard yet. However, to use this amp as such, it's going to need to be mounted in a metal box. If you wanna do this, don't throw away that biscuit tin yet, even if the contents has been entirely eaten. There's one seller for this on eBay. I've no connection with this seller whatsoever: just an observation.
