The 16 Bodhisattva Precepts Ceremony, known as Jukai, was taken by four of our Sangha members Mira, Adam, Raul, and Maureen, now known in the Sangha respectively as Shogetsu, Dojun, Taido, and Myosho.

Myosho: Myo- Inconceivable, miraculous Sho- Blossom, laughter (Inconceivable Blossom)
Taido: Body, form Do- The Way, Truth (Embody the Way)
Shogetsu means: Sho - Sing, Preach Getsu - Moon (Singing to the Moon)
Dojun means: Do - Earth, Ground Jun- Pure Hearted, innocent (Earth Hearted)
