Live Power Automate Cloud Flow Build & Competition Draw for 10,000 Subs

In this live session I built a cloud flow automation to randomly select winners from 141 entrants, of which there were 3 duplicates. In this demonstration I built a flow that for each prize selection, I jumbled up the entrants (to simulate a hat full of names) and picked someone at random to select them as a prize winner. Upon selection, their name was removed from the array of data to ensure each entrant could only win a maximum of 1 prize.

I considered the logic prior to the live session but I wanted to demonstrate how I think, build and test a flow. Things didn’t go smoothly as I had difficulty with the logic but also with the new designer. I was able to work through this though and complete the objective, I’ve 34 winners! 🥳🏆 This is a new format for me as usually you see a polished flow.
