Lee Canyon is open for summer activities includes Scenic chair rides and hiking. It’s about 45 to 60 minutes drive from Las Vegas depending on traffic. This time it’s free parking.

Lee Canyon Ski Area officially became Las Vegas ski and snowboard resort in 1995. It was my first time to experienced the scenic chair rides. Going up to the top is a little bit scary and going down is not bad, about 30 minutes ride. I don’t like heights but I made it and I survive. At first I was calm and relax but when it stops in the middle and sway a little bit that gets me terrified.

It was a quick getaway from the heat. Beautiful weather and scenery.
$8.00 fee for adults for the scenic chair ride
